Train without pain!
After two decades of humanely training people and their pets I decided to take my love for dogs, knowledge of canine behavior and add Dog Walking to my services.
My previous experience includes Animal Rescue Manager, Behavioral Manger and Veterinary Technician. In 2007 I graduated from the National Animal Control Associations Training Academy.
I'm a cross-over trainer, 20 years removed. What is a cross-over trainer? A cross-over trainer is someone who started out training with techniques that followed the dominance theory. In my case, back then choke, prong and shock collars were the favored tools of the day. Through many years of educating ourselves through science based studies we realized how damaging these techniques are to the human-animal bond and opted for a more humane and more effective way to train through the use of Positive Reinforcement.

A positive reinforcement trainer has the knowledge to humanely counter condition behavior problems such as pulling on leash, jumping up on people, over reacting to other people, dogs, cars etc.
Consistency and repetition breed success.
Your four-legged companion(s) will learn to sit politely while having their collar and leash put on and removed.
Your pup(s) will also learn to wait at open doors.
I will also teach them anything else you would like them to learn during our walks.
The muti-dog walks and hikes also help with socialization, in addition to teaching your pup(s) to respond to requests under distractions.
Do you have other behavioral issues? Not to worry, no matter what the behavior problem is, I'll be happy to teach you how to humanely fix the problem.
My dog walking service is also a great option for reactive dogs who might not do so well in public. I have the knowledge and ability to humanely counter condition your pups reactivity or aggression towards other dogs, people etc.
All this for the same price as a regular dog walker!
Please don't mistake training for the lack of fun. Fun is an integral part of program.

Services:
Training: Positive reinforcement training methods only, for both dogs and cats, with a Learn-To-Earn Philosophy.
No Pinch, Choke, or Shock collars will be allowed, these tools are out dated and can do more harm than good. Positive reinforcement techniques are proven by science to create the strongest bond possible between human and pet, in addition to providing an optimum learning environment.
Dog Walking: I incorporate training into our daily walks, as well as multi-dog walks and hikes for the same price as a regular dog walker.
Hike Train & Socialize: You and your pup will join us for a hike which will last at least one hour or more to work on socialization and strengthen reliability with commands in a multi-dog setting.
Full day Stay & Play: During fair weather days only.
Boarding: Why board your four-legged family member in a kennel, when
you can board them in a cage-free environment in my home for less. Daily walks, and multi-dog hikes included at no extra cost to you. All dogs must be dog friendly and will be temperament tested prior to boarding.
